Set of 3 vintage Modern Library books, one with the original cover! We love these little (5 by 7.125 inches) books. They look great in a group for display. This lot includes:
-The Thurber Carnival, 1957, 370 pages. Name blacked out with marker on the second title page, small area of discoloration on the front cover, wear to edges of cover especially at the top and bottom of the spine. Good condition overall with clean pages.
-Great Modern Short Stories, dust jacket included, 1942, 480 pages. First two pages have slight folds at the bottom, some wear to jacket and book cover edge. Good condition overall with clean pages.
-Poe's Best Tales, 476 pages, no copyright but we would guess the 1940s. Very slight wear to front cover and some on edges. Good condition overall with clean pages.
